Hey everyone, If you can remember me from a thread before, I decided to buy the HTC Wildfire, and I'm loving it so far. One annoying thing is, I am not really liking the telstra pre paid deals and most of my family are on vodafone (free vodafone, we all have about 3-4 hours free talk). Unfortunately we have been unable to generate an unlock code for your mobile phone. There are so many mobile phones on the market today and not all of them can be unlocked. This can be for a variety of reasons and is not limited to certain makes or models, occasionally it can be linked to the amount of time the handset has been locked to a particular network. Your options now may now be limited to contacting your network operator or visiting a local shop who can unlock your mobile while you wait. It is very unlikely another online company will have the unlock code but you could always give it a try.

Unlocking instruction for HTC Wildfire S ?
How to enter an unlock code in a HTC Wildfire S:
1. Start the device with an different simcard inserted (simcard from a different network than the one that works in your HTC Wildfire S).
2. Enter network unlock code message will appear.
3. Type the unlock code provided by sim-unlock.net.
4. Phone is network unlocked.
IMPORTANT
If the code doesn't work a factory reset or a hard reset might be required.
Please copy all important data from your HTC Wildfire S before you try a factory reset, because they will get deleted in the process.
Unfortunatelly those free codes don't work. The correct unlock code comes from the network and cannot be generated by a random app.
Code for HTC Wildfire S is based on the IMEI number.
